Do you feel overwhelmed every Christmas because of all the To Do’s, obligations, and the cost of gift giving, that you go into debt over it? Then it’s time to do something about it so you can enjoy Christmas this year.

According to the National Retail Federation, Americans spend an average of $875 on Christmas. This includes gifts, decorations, food, and wrapping paper.

Well, the time to prep for Christmas is NOW! Don’t wait until November or December because you’ll feel overwhelmed.

While things have calmed down from summer and back to school, this is the pocket of time to start planning for the holidays.

Smart Ways to Save Money and Your Sanity for Christmas

1. Start preparing for Christmas NOW.

It’s never too early to start preparing for Christmas. In fact, the earlier, the better so you can actually enjoy Christmas this year.

2. Finalize your gift list.

Make sure you know who you’re shopping for and if you can cut down the list, then do so.

3. Shop for gifts and look for sales.

The beauty of starting early is that you have plenty of time to look for deals and sales, without the time pressure of having to get things done.

4. Track your Christmas budget on a spreadsheet.

What if you had a beautiful spreadsheet that made it easier to see your entire gift list, things you need to buy for Christmas, and helps you organize your Christmas card list?

I feel like Christmas cards or photo cards overwhelm me the most! But I still want to send them out.

In my mini-course, Don’t Have a Broke Christmas, I’ll share how I save on photo cards so that I spend just $12 for 75 photo cards and my favorite gift ideas.
